Celebrating ASCO’s Class of 2026 Apprentices

ASCO Engineering is proud to celebrate the achievements of four team members who have successfully completed their engineering apprenticeships.

Olivia Avery, Roberts Karlson and Nathan Johnson have completed their apprenticeships in Mechanical Engineering, while Ellis Pennington has completed his Mechatronics Apprenticeship.

Olivia and Roberts completed their studies through Wigan & Leigh College and University Centre, supported by Engineering Assessor David Birchall.
Nathan and Ellis completed their studies through West Lancashire College.

Throughout their apprenticeships, Olivia, Roberts, Nathan and Ellis have combined academic study with practical, hands-on experience in a busy engineering environment. Their success reflects the commitment, technical ability and determination they have demonstrated during their training.

Apprenticeships play an important role in developing the next generation of skilled engineers and supporting the long-term future of UK manufacturing.

At ASCO Engineering and Surface Technology, we are committed to investing in people, developing specialist engineering skills and creating opportunities for talented individuals to build rewarding careers within the industry.

We would like to congratulate our Class of 2026 on this important milestone and thank everyone who has supported them throughout their apprenticeship journey.

We are excited to see what the future holds as Olivia, Roberts, Nathan and Ellis continue to develop and progress in their engineering careers.
