Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week!!
At Asco Engineering Ltd we currently have 7 apprentices on site developing skills in CNC machining, turning, grinding, inspection, and mechatronics, and it’s great to see the next generation building real, practical experience alongside experienced colleagues.
Apprenticeships play such an important role in strengthening our industry, developing confidence, and creating long-term career opportunities. Strong workplaces are built by people investing in people.
A big thank you to everyone involved in supporting and mentoring our apprentices. Your time and commitment really does make a difference.

We’re proud to celebrate Shane Crompton on the successful completion of his 4-year apprenticeship in Technical Support - Technician Level 3 here at ASCO Engineering Ltd, in partnership with Wigan & Leigh College.
Over the past four years, Shane has consistently demonstrated dedication, technical ability, and a strong willingness to learn and grow. His hard work and commitment have made a real impact on our team, and we’re excited to see what the future holds as he continues to develop his career with us.
